It's really thin. I was a little disappointed that it was not a bit more substantial.

Hi Martin, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review for your order and I'm sorry to see that the hat didn't meet your expectations. We have tried to make it as clear as possible in the description of the merino wool beanies that they are lightweight hats, and are described as helmet liners as they are designed to be thin with flat seams. As the hat is made from merino wool, it has extremely good thermal properties which allows it to be nice and warm without having to be very thick, so I hope that it is keeping you nice and warm even though it was thinner than expected. I appreciate your feedback and will review the description to see if there are any changes I can make to make this a little clearer.
